![]() ![]() Graphics Processor Settings: Check the “Use Graphics Processor” option to enable Photoshop to use it, as well as the CPU.It will do so at the expense of other apps you have open, though. If you’re on a low-end machine, increasing this will make Photoshop run faster. Memory Usage: Control the maximum amount of RAM Photoshop can use.To stack more easily, you can use the option to 'automatically suggest stacks' when you right click on a batch of thumbnails. ![]() If you already have the raws and pdfs not in version set, you still have the choice to 'stack' the files to show the one you prefer. You can manage version sets to select which version is displayed on top. Note that you may see better if you have version sets in the thumbnail display space if you switch to 'detailed view' (shortcut Ctrl D). You create a 'version set' when you are saving from the editor, tick the checkbox to save in version set. The result is that the source file is hidden under the last 'version', which can be any format like psd or jpeg. Haven't tried the automatic version of it. I just found the stack option (not sure if it is the right translation from german "Stapel / Fotostapel", which comes in quite handy. If I want to compare I can always say show hidden files. My wish 2: A filter that would hide the original or older version of a file: Example: if name_1.jpg exist hide name.jpg, if name_2.jpg exist hide name_1.jpg (too). I will keep that the same, but not the file extension The filter can distinguish the same files by the file name. My wish 1: A filter like "If psd exist hide raw" would always work - but I can't find it. My solution 1: Manualy hide the photos I want to have hidden. Same as Situation 1, but both photos are JPG. I want to keep the original like a negativ, too. My Situation 2: I Import a JPG from a phone or my old camera before I had a camera with RAW capability. Is there a way, to automatically hide RAW-files, when there is a PSD file of that same immage? What is your approach to see only one photo when you load your photos. ![]() ![]() I want to keep the RAW like I kept negatives from analog times. Now I will edit them in Camera Raw and PSE(15). My Situation 1: I have a folder with RAW images imported. I am wandering about your techniques for organizing your photos, spezially when it comes to different versions and filetypes of the same picture. ![]()
